Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." ~John 21:16

Randy & Krystal Odom

Randy Odom was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He gave his life to Jesus at the age of 14 and shortly thereafter dedicated his life to His service. After graduating from seminary Randy sensed God’s call to serve overseas. Following graduate study at Biola University he traveled to China where he served as a university English teacher for six years. Upon completion of his service in China, he settled in the Bay Area. In 1994 Randy became pastor of the Fruitvale Christian Church in Oakland, CA. In 1995 he married Krystal, who is originally from Taiwan. Krystal came to the US to pursue a graduate degree from Kansas State University.  Together Randy and Krystal served the Fruitvale church in Oakland for ten years. In 2002 Randy began working with a non-profit Christian organization that sends Christian professionals to China. It was during this time that he and Krystal began attending Neighborhood Church. In 2005 God opened a door of opportunity for Randy to join the pastoral staff of Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley, CA. From 2005 to 2010 Randy served as Pastor of Connection at Neighborhood Church.

In early 2009 Randy and Krystal learned of the ministry of TransformAsia from a friend. After a “scouting expedition” to Cambodia in the summer of 2009, the Odoms were convicted that God was leading them to become House Parents at the David Center orphanage.  They departed for Cambodia on August 8, 2010.  Randy and Krystal are excited to begin this new adventure in ministry with TransformAsia!
