Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." ~John 21:16

Kambour Village

The Kambour Village is an agriculture-based community that is in crisis because they have no market for their limited products. Many of the adults have gone to Thailand to work and have been taken advantage of by employers, get sick and die, and often returning with STD’s. The goal of this project is to help the community stay together and provide them a market for their goods. We will do this by:

  1. Educational development by providing education for the educators there by raising the education level of the children.
  2. Providing community health / hygiene education.
  3. Feeding the children
  4. Providing a market for the goods of the community and using those goods to support the community

The Kambour Village is a very remote and difficult place to live. We have found that it is difficult to keep track of the children. Some of the children move with their parents to find seasonal work, Some of the children are sold, kidnapped or enticed by lies into the sex or child slave trade. We have seen several children die simply due to a lack of basic health care or transportation to take them to a US Aid hospital 3 hours away.
